Italy's Little Kitchen
Our family has been in the Italian Restaurant and Pizza business since 1949, establishing Italyac2s Little Kitchen in 1971. We have won numerous awards for our outstanding recipes, which use only the healthiest and freshest ingredients. We stand by the principle that our customers should be shown the same hospitality we would offer a guest in our own home.Which is why Italyac2s Little Kitchen has been the most popular neighborhood Italian restaurant in Westchester for over 35 years. We hope you will continue to enjoy dining in our restaurant and thank you for your patronage.
If I could give this restaurant a negative rating I would. As for the food, I couldn't honestly say since we did not ever get our food. I don't think the service could have been worse. The waitress forgot to put our order in and after 35 minutes of waiting for our order she brought over another tables order asking if it was what we had ordered. Well one dish was the other wasn't so she quickly took it away and we heard her then put our order in. She came back to tell us that only one dish had been prepared (a lie) so it would be a bit longer. When we explained that my husband had a plane to catch to please just bring his dish back and not to worry about mine, which according to her was the dish not prepared, she quickly back-tracked saying that the dishes had been already taken to another table. She then offered to make a quick salad. A salad?!?!? are you kidding! My husband was going to be on a plane for 6 hours without food he wanted a full meal, a hot meal....a salad?!?!? We were not the only customers having a problem with this waitress. At another table the gentleman had to take his own dish to the cooks to heat up because it was cold when he finally received it but the waitress was nowhere around. Another person at the same table did not receive his dish until the other members of his party were already half way through their meals, another forgotten order. And if you think, well perhaps the waitress was just too busy....wrong! She only had three tables the entire time we were there and that included us. We use to dine at this restaurant often and had not for some time, let me tell you things have changed. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at least until they get some decent service.
In an area full of Italian resturants Italy's Little Kitchen does seem relatively a bit more fancy. However the dishes and the prices are seemingly are a let down and a too costly. For some Italy's Little Kitchen might be a great fit but for me I prefer other near by Italian resturants that are more truly little kitchenes or high level. I say give it a go once at least for the first hand experience if you are curious. And if your curiousity does not abound pass.
We used to go here all the time for a quick lunch or early dinner... Food was good though the dishes weren't spectacular, and service was prompt and friendly.
Such a brightly lit atmosphere with lots of windows on the corner of a busy intersection, there was something about this small place that showed elegance. I miss this place. Though the location was starved for appeal, it was quite convenient... being close to my old workplace, and even closer to the airport and the beaches, it was always within a fair distance to catch a quick meal, or dine out for the evening.
