Highly overrated place. The BBQ here is ok, nothing to write home about & the service is mediocre. I personally prefer Phillip's BBQ or the Spring Street Smokehouse over Hoody's. I have yet to find a place in LA that has some slap your momma BBQ, but this place is defintiely not it.
Just had the BBQ on 11.11.07 and It was good. The meat was very tender and I'm not a sauce fan but the sauce was great as weel. The Mac N Cheese was great. Great job Woody, keep up the good work and thanks for serving the hood. I would recommend it to a friend and a visitor from out of state.
