Good for a quick bite

A great place for a solid meal. There's no liquor license, which is sort of a drag, and you are always semi-rushed. The food is quite good though, and the late hours make it a great place to stop before bed. The prices are also very reasonable.

this place is by far the best food for the best price. It has it all, taste, great menu, affordable, great atmosphere and service. Everytime we've gone were never disappointed. I hightly recommend.

I can't get enough

I've been here a handful of times (only because to continue to eat fried chicken, mac & cheese, and gravy covered meat is too much for my figure to handle) and every time it's been delicious. The specials are always great, but the highlight is the fried chicken. WOW. Moist on the inside, crispy on the outside... And the hipster crowd is fun as well.

My new favorite dinner spot

I took some friends there from overseas for dinner at 10pm on a Monday night. The food (including the fish!) was fresh, delicious, perfectly cooked and cheap to boot. The service was great. Will definitely be back, in fact, The Kitchen is quite possibly my favorite dinner spot in LA so far.
