Roscoe's House of Chicken, Hollywood

What a rip off. Too expensive.And the pieces were small.You could go to another chicken place and feed an entire family for what 2 pieces of chicken and two waffles cost at Roscoes.

Okay, I'm being for real. I'm from the south. The chicken was great. Everything else was just okay. Come to the south for home cooking that's out of this world spectacular and much lower prices. That's for real!!!

The Best Waffles I have ever eaten in my life. They were delicious, but they could give you more syrup. The chicken is OK, nothing great.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Roscoe's. I thought it was little odd that there were two entrancesm but so be it. As far as parking, the options were street parking or valet. The restaurant was a bit dark in side, but I could see my food. The waitress was very nice (smiled a lot), but didn't seem to comprehend english that well. My food came out within 5 minutes of placing the order and it was piping hot! Everything was delicous - chicken (which I might add was seasoned to perfection), waffle (which was almost the size of the plate it was served on), collard greens and macarroni and cheese. The prices was very reasonable. I highly recommend Roscoe's...they truly set themselves apart from others! I can't wait to go back.

I was so excited to finally go took a 2 hour drive for nothing the waffle was over cooked and the chicken had so much salt on it my body began to swell. No matter how much water I drank it didnt help. I went to the bathroom where it was so old in side it almost seems as though the wall would fall down. There was no tissue in 1 stall so we told them and with all the women working there why was a man so interested to refill the tissue are the women there not able to care for the womens room?

There food is great. I really like their grits w/cheese, it is sooo good. And their chicken & waffles is out of this world. You'll always want to come back.

they recently expanded to next door so no longer is there too big a wait. if you're in the mood for some good hearty grubbing, this is the place to be. i always start out with a thirst quenching sunrise (lemonade and oj). depending on the stomach space for that day, i usually go for a 'scoes special (gravy on the side.. i like to smother my own chicken!) or the 3 wings special. You can't just go there to have the chicken and waffles. I always order some yummy sides like the mac and cheese (taste like they use all real cheese and no velveeta.. good either way) and kick ass juicy greens. end it all with a great slice of corn bread or a side of yams. i am starting to drool.

this is what heaven must be like. best chicken, waffles ever. add on mac and cheese, or sweet potatoes, or cornbread, everythings good. price is reasonable too

Great home cooking. Never thought I would eat a chicken ommelet but, I did. It was awsome. The waffles were also good.
