San Sui is nothing less than a legend in the neighborhood with one of the best maitre dis in town--she remembers everyone, even if she's mistaken you for someone else!

The food is gorgeous; crunchy tempura, fresh sashimi and sushi and, if you order the chefs plate, a low-key but genius chef who will come to your table and discuss your dream Japanese meal with you. He will then produce a stream of heavenly cuisine that you never seem to get too full on. It's magic. And don't forget the fried chicken!

Outdoor seating--complete with bambo and lanterns and a small indoor area. The vibe is always good.
