Tom Bergin's Restaurant, Los Angeles

I loved this place. I thought that it had some good food, but I'm just one person's opinion.

I am visiting from Chicago, where we arguably have the best bar and taverns in the country. The food, drinks and staff were superb............but who makes separate charges for food and drinks! PUT IT ON THE SAME BILL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haven't had the food, but this is a great bar. It's not to big, and it is rare in Los Angeles to find a place that really feels like a bar. The bartender has been here a while and the green four-leaf clover decals everywhere are great. but don't ask for one, only the regulars get them, and that status takes a while.

Tom Bergin's is a great place to get happy hour if you happen to work in the Mid-Wilshire area. Inside you'll actually find Irish bartenders, with their Irish accents, making Tom Bergin's as authentic an Irish bar as possible. Inside, the walls and ceilings are lined with four-leaf clovers with people's names on it. This pretty much means you drink here a lot. Also, the chicken wings are hot and tasty! And if you're into beer, definitely order the Black & Tan.

This has some of the best Irish food outside Ireland. Wonderful atmosphere! Great place to be period!!

We went there for a birthday party and I thought it was gonna be a dump with a name like Tom's Tavern, but it turned out great. 2 Thumbs up

As an Irishman who likes to indulge in a cold frothy beverage on occasion, there is no better place to feel at home and engage in my favorite pasttime than Tom Bergins. Miss out on the chic, Diesel Jeans-wearing, yellow custom sunglasses wearing indoors Hollywood types at this comfortable place. Bergins also has one of the best jukeboxes I have ever put my money into. That's a good thing unless you like trance music coming from a 18 year-old, wanna-be hip hop artist who couldn't land a record deal, DJ.

I hate sports bars but I like Tom Bergin's. It is a comfortable place for a group of friends to hang out and you don't have to many of the really annoying types of sports fans.
