I have been a regular at Cafe Brasil for 5 years now... I have never once had a bad experience. The food is always prepared to perfection and the service and atmosphere is outstanding... makes you feel like you're on a mini vacation to Brasil everytime you step foot in the doors. Thank you Cafe Brasil... I will keep coming back for more!
I had heard about Cafe Brasil and was interested to try it, having seen it going next door to Bamboo. I ordered the executive special which is a lunch special consisting of dark meat chicken, rice, salsa, plantains, and black beans. The food was very mediocre, and the chicken tasted to be very poor quality. The plantains were very good. I also had their sugar cane and passion fruit drink which was good. It was neat watching them freshly squeeze the sugar cane juice through the machine. After this meal I would not plan on going back.
I like the setting (casual and comfy) far more than the food. I was disappointed the first time I had lunch there. So, I decided to have lunch there again but the food was still just OK. I like Cafe Toros' food (on Overland) much better and I understand why a lot of Brazilian people go there for lunch or take out.
This is my favorite place in Los Angeles. Even though I am not Brasilian, it feels like coming home. The staff are friendly and warm. The food is amazing - the try-not-to-moan amazing. The atmosphere is warm, fresh and welcoming. I recommend everyone try out this place and take your entire family!
Nice venice street side cafe build on the sidewalk well known to locals. Food is great and you can always count on good value. Family owned and operated, this cafe is a great place to sample some family style Brazilian cuisine.
The huge crowd sipping margaritas in the bar is the first clue as to the popularity of this Mexican cantina.
The entire restaurant rolls with an upbeat, almost silly atmosphere. The wait on a Friday night can be anywhere ...
