Cafe Des Artistes, Hollywood

This is a nice little find! It's tucked away on a small side-street in Hollywood and covered in greenery - you wouldn't even notice it if you actually found yourself on the street. The dead giveaway was the valet - which was pricey @ $4.50, but hey, there aren't a lot of options in this area. The service was prompt & attentive. The waiter, very knowledgeable on the variety of lucious authentic French choices from various regions. I had the Filet Mignon with a peppercorn flamed Cognac sauce and steamed spinach - impeccable! Nicely decorated, yet casual. It's right next to a playhouse, so many people hit this restaurant before heading over. It's only slightly expensive, but well worth it, and a great casual date place.
