went there for dinner, the waitress was rude, and almost looked like she was upset that customers were there. it took half an hour for the food to arrive even though there was only one other table there besides ours.
i ordered the steak and it was incredibly drive and over seasoned. the potatoes were runny and the spinach was wilted.
Grub is a great find - hidden away where you would never expect it to be. My friends & I had breakfast here on Saturday morning. The coffee was great. The food arrived within 10 minutes. And, it was delicious. Plus, we sat there for at least an hour and a half talking & drinking our coffee & during the whole time everyone was very very nice. I would totally recommend this place to anyone & I'll definitely be back.
Grub has got to be the best restaurant in the los angeles area, if not the nation. The service was exceptional and the food was wonderful. The owners make their presence known and even greet you at the door. I will definately go back for more. I can't wait to tell everyone I know about this amazing little place.
A visit to GRUB was a reminder of the good things in life.. like a cool drink on a warm day, a visit with old friends or wholesome, fresh food. I was able to experience all of this at GRUB.
