Lamonica's New York Pizza, Westwood

their pizza is really good.....but because they are very busy all the time and the place is right next to UCLA give them about an hour to deliver your pizza....5 stars pizza all the way!

I read all of the reviews and think anyone who doesn't love the pizza here is f'ing crazy. I am from New York and lived there for over 20 YEARS. Its the closest thing I have tasted to NY Pizza in LA. All of you haters out there need to go get a life. Taste the mushroom slice its the best.

It's not possible to get good, let alone great, pizza in LA. Period. This place is no exception. I heard a lot of hoopla about this place so I went. It tasted like Dominoes. That's not knocking LA. If you want great sushi or a great cheeseburger this is your place. But pizza, forget about it. Everyone uses gas ovens. There's no substitute for real coal ovens like in NY. Pizza is a friggin' artform there.

How this place received top honors is beyond me. I have lived in Los Angeles for most of my life and have frequented this place several times to give them a chance to prove themselves, they never did. The pizza is ok, not bad at times but nothing special and the service is lousy. There are holes in the wall take out only Pizza Joints that blow this place out of the water in Los Angeles.

THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA IN LA!!!!!!!!!!!! ashton kutcher was asking everyone on twitter what the best pizza was and LAMONICA'S won!!!! its really that good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want the time spent there back. Service was awful. Staff was quite rude. Food......not so great. I was expecting a great New York style pie. Just rubbish. If you want a good pie, just stop in Chicago or New York and get a good one there.

I'm sorry, but it's the WORST PIZZA and the WORST SERVICE. all employees RUDE and IMPOLITE.

Bad food and arrogant waiters/waitresses, you will be better off going to Pizza Hut.

4.5 stars i don't think so more like .5 stars. The service was not even a 1 star and you want to rate it almost a five star what is wrong with you pepole.
