Where The Baller's Eat...
Now I didn't know anything about this restaurant before going except they served good creole food. Me, having a sutle creole heritage and hanging out with 2 of my best friends whose families also hail from Louisiana, we rolled in. When we first got there, it didn't look like a restaurant from the outside and the parking lot was this oversized driveway with some nice cars that looked like they were being featured for sale instead of being owned and temporarily parked. We stumbled in, it was not that crowded, and we were seated in this waiting area that featured these tall bar stools and tall round tables. Nice. I snuck off to the lil girls room and even the bathrooms were very nice. When I returned, my 2 best friends had been seated and I joined them. All the waiters were men...hmmm....and they proceded to put our linen napkins on our laps and served us fresh, clear lemon water. From there, the service only got better. No meal was under $25 and this was lunch! So not really knowing what the meal consisted of in terms of portion, we each ordered. Let me tell you, we all could have eaten from one plate! Ad had left overs. The servings was huge!! We laughed and talked and coyly smiled at the other guests that past our front and center table. Everything was the bomb! Everything you would want in service and a meal. When we were leaving, it was getting very crowded...ballers just coming out the woodwork. Nice cars, nice lookin people, good food, good service, everything was excellante!
