This Taqueria technically is located in Boyle Heights not ELA. This resturant has been serving up the most delicious Mexican food since the early eighties when I first started going there. Not even in Mexico can you get a quality carne asada taco for one dollar! The prices have stayed the same for several years and the food taste as good as my tias (aunt) kitchen. On Saturdays and Sunday mornings they offer breakfast with handmade tortillas, menudo and huevos rancheros. They are open late Friday and Saturday nights for those late night munchies run. If your lucky you might spot Poncho Sanchez (latin jazz artist) when he is in town. The chairs dont match, the service is slow and the food is FANTASTIC.
