Weiland Brewery Restaurant, Los Angeles

I have gone here twice good food, good drinks cool place to come with friends. However, the waitresses are completely useless. PLEASE CHECK YOUR BILL!!! I have gotten added items for stuff I never ordered both times. And the second time I went, the waitresses were taking shots at the bar, by the end of the night they were more drunk than any customer. That is gross. There are other places to get good food and drinks where the staff can function properly

A miserable establishment. They tend to leave the tables filthy until they have to clean them to seat someone. The food tastes like it was all fried in the same oil and the beer taps have obviously never been flushed. Dirty beer?

I'm there 3 or 4 nights a week and I love it. Everyone there is really nice and the atmosphere is great. The Civic Center crowd and office workers populate the place during lunch and after work, but when it gets dark the fun really starts locals, artists and actors until late at night 2am. They have two Happy Hour the first from 4-7pm the second from 10pm to1:30am $2.50 gets your choice of four house beers, and plenty of Happy Hour food for under $5.00. Chicken Quesadilla and Buffalo shrimp are my personal favorites along with the BBQ Wings. The burgers are GREAT, the pastas good and tasty, the Filet Mingion is excellent and only $17.95 a great deal, the Lime Herb Chicken at $10.95 is also a steal.

Working in downtown L.A., the location of this place is pretty convienent to get together with friends after work. The place is usually pretty crowded, probably because there is no where else to go in the area. The food is okay, but the waitresses act like you're bothering them if you order something or would like another drink. That's a definite turn off. The manager allows this, so I guess the manager should be blamed for the rude service as well.

Horrible service!!!!!! What happened to service with a smile. Your customers put food on your table so why not put food on my table with a smile. If you go on a busy night you might have to wait up to an hour to get your food. Beer is good and very cheap so I'll continue to go despite the service...

Food is excellent. Drinks are like no other and the atmosphere is fantastic. This place is very diverse, you will meet a whole lot of interesting people. You have local artists and every now and then you might spot a celeb. If you are tired of a loud scene and just want to have a chill time, then THIS IS THE PLACE YOU HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR!

We have been going to this brewery usually 3-4 times each year. Food is 4 star - service is also 4 star if you don't go at high noon, and prices are fair. What we don't like is the crowded and costly parking, and that the building smells a little too much like a brewery on some occasions. Would I go there today for lunch? Sure if you are driving: )

I love coming here on a weekday for some beer and wings. The 10pm to closing time happy hour rocks. The downside: this place always seems to be understaffed. Whether you come on a weekday when it's not too busy or a Friday or Saturday and the place is jumping, your're going to be waiting a long time for your food and drink. I like this place a lot and I'm really into supporting local breweries...but I've grown tired of the slack service and, as of late, I've thought twice about having to sit around with an empty glass, watching our frazzled waitress run past. They need to be careful, from the looks of the other reviews, they're starting to get a bit of a reputation.

I loved it. The food was delicious, reasonably priced. And I especially liked the garlic fries. I would highly recommend it. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting and the selection of drinks was quite extensive. Overall a very good experience. I have been there on more than one occassion.
