Food is great, I love the beef over there. Make sure you get their early because the lines are long when you arrive around 11:30.

I've traveled in Japan, eaten at more Japanese restaurants than you can imagine in Los Angeles.... this is a good value in that it has high quality beef (texture and flavor) with efficient and polite service. Atmosphere is another matter but if you've spent time in Japan, some of the most famous spots (quality & reputation) look like this place. Enjoy!

I suggest going there for lunch. Fewer people, better value.

totally worth the wait. this place is known for their sauce, not their meat. the meat is of course mediocre, hence the price is the CHEAPEST compare to other shabu shabu house. who doesn't know that? but it's the overall taste that makes this the best shabu shabu house. i've been to three other shabu houses. 1 is just across the street from this one, 1 was in hollywood, by century club, and the other, in gardena where there is a large japanese population. i only go back to this place. i got my husband and friends hooked, too. we are asians with expensive taste, yet we go for this cheap shabu shabu house. we love it here. so cheap and tasty.

Food is just more than ok. However, it doesn't deserve you to wait for at lease 1 hour for it. The store is too small to let you enjoy your meal. It is also impossible to have good atmosphere in this small seat. What can i say, there are many other good shabu shabu around LA, not just this one. If you realy got nothing to do, fine, go try it!!

TOTALLY OVER RATED. THE FOOD IS MEDIOCRE AND THE MEAT IS NOTHING EXTRAORDINARY...ONLY I GRADE OF MEAT. I HAD HEARD ALL THE HYPE AS I JUST READ AND I WAS NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. I DON'T RECOMMEND WAITING IN LINE FOR A LESS THAN SATISFACTORY MEAL.
