The Don Shula of Thai food! The undisputed Thai cuisine heavyweight champion! The orange fried rice, shrimp chow mein, BBQ beef, pork jerky w/sauce, hot and spicy seafood soup! I could go on forever, best Thai food I have ever eaten. I have never been disappointed at Vim's. Time and time again it proves to be the best.
What is everyone talking about? My husband and I took a friend to Vims last night based on the great reviews. What a disappointment! The worse Thai food we have eaten. The fish is dry and overcooked with no seasoning; sauces are overdone. Chinese food lacking also...sweet sour...good flavor, but no chicken! Atmosphere and service don't make up for the food....try somewhere else!!! We've given it two tries...it wasn't just a fluke.
I have been going to Vim's for over 15 years, and every single time I go back it's as good as I remember. I drive from La Habra, all the way to Los angeles with friends to eat there. Highly, highly recommend Vim's Thai food. The best I have ever tried, especially their Seven Sea dish along with their spicy chili sauce. Yummy.!!
This place is awesome and super inexpensive. I love the Pad Thai but the best thing on their menu is the Seven Seafood soup. I have gone to many other thai restaurants to compare the 7 seafood soup but none of them can come even close to Vims. It does get a bit crowded at times and parking in that area kinda sucks but it is well worth it!!
you havent had thai food till you go to VIMS!! EVERY single dish is so flavorful..theres not ONE dish i havent liked. i promise you wont want to eat at ANY other thai place after youve had vims..i reccomend the Pad thai..and Shrimp leaf chili garlic.
My parents took me there when I was younger and we fell in love with the food. We go there religiously at least once a month with my parents now. It's a great place for a date at night & during the day it's great place to go with your family.
