Good food; Love the ambience. Good for 2-4 people. Small, quiet, intimate.

J town always has great sushi. I especially love the unagi sushi (freshwater eel) I like it to be warm, which it was. I would go back just for that.

Along with the Abacore. I think this places tastes pretty good. It's a small place but the service is pretty good and friendly.

Hama is the essential sushi bar. The sushi chefs are old masters who probably have close to 100 years of experienced combined. That being said this place is wonderfully basic and so are most of the dishes, no bells or whistles here just amazing quality fish cut superbly. Patients is a virtue here and if it is crowded it pays to be respectful to the chefs(buying them a brew goes a long way). This is the kind of place you will comeback to if you are not a sushi poser, if you don't like it you should probably go back to sushi Raku with Lindsey Lohan and do bumps in the bath room. PS: try the yellow tail, and the toro mmmmmmmm

My girl and I have been going to this place on a regular basis for a few years now. We've given all the other sushi joints a shot, only to come back to where we belong. Fantastic prices, ultra-fresh fish, and just some old time sushi chefs that don't take off work except for Christmas.

Authentic. Sit at the bar... its better that way.

This place offers great sushi and, if it's too crowded to get a table, it offers takeout if you ask. It's great sushi -- worth the drive to get there.
