Frying Fish Restaurant, Los Angeles

This is an awesome sushi bar, the conveyer is cool but order anything you want and they well make it. The place is owned by a very nice japanese little old couple. they go to the fish market every morning to get the freshest fish. The sashimi is the best. Kuo and Shin are the two chefs I see the most and they do great work. Don t be shy get off the conveyer belt chat with the guys and you well have a good time. Don t forget to leave a good tip.

I was there last Saturday with my teenage daughter. Although it's fun to watch sushi go around you, the sushi weren't that good at all. I would have been better off going to other restaurants. Fish were dry and rice had no taste. Yakitori was hot off the grill and good.

I used to go to this place all the time when I worked in Downtown LA. I went about 1 month ago and it was terrible. Everything was pre-made. No sushi was done on site. It sits in a plastic box and then prepared as you order. The freshness was not there. I didn't see any of the cooks freshly slice the fish. I was disappointed and so was my date. 2 Thumbs Down!

I come to LA for work every once in awhile. Every time I come I have to come to this restaurant to have some sushi. They have the freshest fish, and the prices are very reasonable!

Their sushi is just ok but their rolls are great! I tried differnt Sushi place and found out their rolls are the best and most innovative. The servers and the sushi chef are nice! And their price is moderate. It's recommanded.

Frying Fish is one of my favorite place to eat sushi. They have great selection of fish & it's fresh. Price is moderate, not too high not too cheap for good sushi. Although the ambiance isn't the top of the class, they keep the cleanliness & good service. This place is great for lover & sushi lover. Definitely come back in near future.
