I always get TOP NOTCH service from this place - thank goodness it's my neighborhood place because it happens to be the best in LA, period, end of discussion. I lived in NYC a long time (Long Live Johns Pizza in the Village!) but if you gotta live here you gotta roll with the 'za. Village Pizzeria rules.

Visited this place on a Sunday afternoon to grab a slice. Service was bad and really rude. The kitchen area is 3 times bigger than the seating area, for pizza! We ordered and waited, when asked how much longer it would be we were told that they were busy and it would be 20 minutes and if we didn't like it we could go somewhere else, so we did. BTW, there were only 8 customers in the place!! We're from NY and although I can't compare the pizza I don't know of anyone who would put up that kind of service, everyone should take their advise and go somewhere else.

Great Veggie Calzone
By ,
I've been to village pizza on several occasions, usually for lunch. I always order the veggie calzone. It's the best I've had. I recommend the calzone and nothing else.

won't ever go back
By ,
I had been going to Village Pizza for years with my family...showed up one night for dinner with a friend and although there were several tables for four open, owner of the restaurant would not allow a party of two to sit at a 4 top. We begrudgingly waited for 30 minutes until a two top was open (only one of the 4 tops was seated in the time we waited). I asked the waiter to have the owner come over and talk to me and he basically refused. Really BAD public relations! The food is good, but not that good...bad customer service will dictate whether I am willing to patronize a restaruant...and the customer service at Village Pizza is horrible. The owner was rude and arrogant. (why?)

Our favorite pizza
By ,
we order from here about every 2 weeks. good delivery service, good value. pasta is fair, but pizza is our favorite in LA. The only other pizza I like is LaMonica's in Westwood and Downtown.

One of the best in Los Angeles!
By ,
I was in New York City recently and ate quite a few slices...I must say that the Village Pizzeria in Larchmont Village is as good or better than some of the places in the so-called Big Apple. It's thin crust with loads of cheese. I had the pesto pizza. It was excellent. They also serve beer, but I had a Stewart's Orange Cream Soda. Quite refreshing!

Excellent Pizza
By ,
The Village Pizzeria never fails. Every thing I've had there has been excellent. They load the toppings on and the pizza is very, very tasty.
