Chinese Friends Restaurant, Los Angeles

This restaurant is pretty good. I really liked thier chicken and soup. It was awesome.

I wasn't excited to try a new place, especially if I was going to a Dodger game after. However, I was really impressed. My gf and I have been going to this place for the last 3 years. Really good food. Prices as "ala-carte". Plan to take some home. My favorites: Wor Wonton Soup, Pan Fried Noddles (chicken or house), Mongolian Beef, Dumplings and egg rolls. Very good! It's a once a week ritual with me. Love it!

Best chinese food ever. Have been going since was a little kid. Usually order the House Shrimp, Three flavor Soup, Kung Pao Shrimp, and Pork Fried Rice. Ordering all this can get kinda pricey, but well worth it. Just be prepared to not hear any music or see any tv while you're there, which can be a good thing. Totally recommend it!

OMG! This place is "the bomb".. My cousin told me she had been going there for 10 plus years.. she was ranting and raving about it so I decided to try the place.. my first impression was like Omg this place is small.. but when i seen nothing but asian cooks i thought hmm this food may be authentic. So i ordered everything my cousin said were her faves.. I tried the three flavor sizzling rice soup. I must admit this is the best soup out of all the soups i have ever tried in my life. I am so hooked on it, I am planning on going tonite. I also love the shrimp fried rice, the pan fried noodles are also killer, everything i tried was super yummy! ever since my visit i dont see chinese food the same. I would rather pass on the fast food chinese and wait for my visit to this authentic little place. I give it a double high five. Whatever type of person u are middle high or low class you'll love it. comfortabLe atmosphere.

I also have been going to this restuarant for as long as I can remeber. I highly recomend the sizzling rice soup with three flavors, kung pao chicken or shrimp,and the friends mix noodles. To avoid paying for drinks ask for a glass of ice and fill it up with the complementary tea. The same family has own this restuarant for years. They just hand the business down to the next generation. BEST CHINESE FOOD IN TOWN!!!

I drive 35 miles just for their sauteed shrimp! I love their food so much I go a little crazy sometimes! A little pricy but worth ever spoonful of that shrimp, which just melts in your mouth! Screw it! I'm going right now guys!

I have been going here before i was born. I LOVE this place!! The FOOD IS GREAT!!! i crave it all the time!!! i drive 60 miles just to go eat at this WONDERFUL PLACE!!! OH MAN.. i am craving it NOW!!! This place should be everywhere... like abc stores in Ohau. I highly suggest that everyone try this place. The "beef pan fried noodles" are my favorite. Sometimes they run out becuase they are thaaat GOOD!!

If you're looking for a simple night out at a great quality Chinese restaurant then Chinese Friends is the spot you're looking for. With subterranean parking you wont be driving around downtown looking for a parking space. Although the word is out on this establishment, more often than not, you'll be able to walk in and be seated. Personally, I've had some the best Chinese food at Chinese Friends. Go check it out for yourself and I recommend the Ketchup Shrimp/

Don't tell any more people about this treasure! We won't be able to get in. It is a fabulous place and the food is the best.

This is the best Chinese food I ever had! My husband has been eating there since he was little and he introduced me to it over 8 years ago. I highly recommend it to anyone is looking for a good meal at a decent price.
