Capperi ristorante is intimate and stylish with white linen tablecloths and napkins, light brown wooden floors and contemporary art on white walls. Soft lighting, warm woods, indoor and patio dining and pleasant background music add to the elegant and romantic ambiance. They serve authentic italian cuisine with veal, lamb, steak, chicken, seafood and pasta entrees. There is an extensive wine list featuring some domestic and imported selections.
Went there to hear a great presentation on real estate and had delicious bread and oil/garlic sauce, which was fantastic. So I stuck around to also have a great meal, which the pastas were excellent and the cream sauce was just wonderful. I couldn't help myself by eating my friends dish which was also a pasta dish. Highly recommend for nice dinner and close to shops in downtown LA.
Capperi is a quaint restaurant in Little Tokyo. We had a private party on Saturday, October 13, 2007. The food is delicious! Julie, the server, was attentive and courteous. I ordered the cheese/pepperoni pizza, calamari, and a salad for our table. Last week, I had a business lunch, and I ordered the veal parmesean, which was equally excellent.
What more can you ask for? I thought the food was amazing and it's a great place for a nice evening out with friends or loved ones. Loved their bread with olive oil and their pasta pescatore is wonderful..
