The food is great, the bathrooms are dirty and have wet toilet paper stuck to the ceiling. Our table and bench seats were sticky and the wall close to where we sat was yellowed and you can see where someone had tried to clean it in about a one foot square area then gave up. Its defenatly a take-out place for us, most people let their children run wild. Its very rude!
After living in both Vegas and Reno for a while, I had begun to wonder if I was to ever run into a truly satisfying Nevada pie. Where did I find one? In of all places, the little high planes, mining town of Elko. While a few so called specialty pizzas grace the menu at The Pizza Barn, it is their straight ahead, no frills thin crust pie that takes the cake. The cheese used is of high quality and generously portioned. The cured meats and other toppings are of similar quality and richly spiced to please the discerning carnivore. When in or near Elko, Nevada and in need of a Pizza fix. I highly reccommend The Pizza Barn.
They don't hold back on the ingredients; great monthly beer specials; great sandwiches; MOST of the time, it is best to phone your order in ... otherwise, get in line. Seldom can you go in and not have a party in progress or starting soon
Likes: The salad bar, Tostada Pizza, BBQ Pizza, video games, touch screen games, Hot Sacks.
Dislikes: I'm not one for crust, so a little too much crust for me on most pizzas... plus some of the tables are too low and crunch my legs!
Nice family restaurant, great for kids' parties. Try the Hot Sacks too!
