Nugget Motel, Carson City

We have been coming here for about 30 years - usually 4 or 5 times a year. The food has ALWAYS been above reproach and CHEAP. We often make an excuse just to come here for the food. The casino is small - no pia gow - or - other poker table games. They did add a back room poker room where they have hold 'em and it is good. Seems like you have to be at least 60 to get in here - but - I started when I was about 30 - so - I guess they do not care :) Everyone is very nice - the hotel is a bit of a walk but Carson City is a small town and you really feel that. I think most folks have a good time here - I know we do !

This place has no class what so ever, you know that old robin hood, tale take from the rich and give to the poor That does not happen in this place, it is take from the poor and the old and sick and give to the rich! These folks should truly be ashamed of them self's and there prices as well as the food is low in standard more than any restaurant that have eaten at.

If you go before 10pm you will find the food great and the service wonderful. After 10pm they usally close once a month for cleaning, and their food does not always taste so good.
