Beto's Mexican Food, Reno

WORST CASE OF FOOD POISNING I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!! DO NOT RECOMEND!

I've given them two tries and was disappointed both times. The first time I went there, the cheese in my food was FROZEN. Everything else about the food seemed authentic, but I'm not accustomed to frozen cheese. The second time was a bit better, but the food was served not hot, but only warm. I've given entirely up on them.

Delicious - and as a vegetarian, I really appreciate how many choices I have on this menu. They have the best veggie burrito I've ever had, and if you are adventurous, try the cactus. What makes this place, however, are the owners. These have to be some of the nicest people in Reno! Definately a place worth supporting.

YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHAT TO ORDER HERE, GET THE SUPER WET BURRITO SPICY PORK WITH SOUR CREAM AND AVACADO, OUT OF THIS WORLD YUMMY, THE SHRIMP SOUP IS GOOD TOO, I HAVE NOT BEEN FOND OF ANYTHING ELSE ON THE MENU THOUGH

I just gotta say that this restaurant is excellent. It reminds me of my mothers home cooking. I love food and I especially love mexican food since I myself am mexican. Don't waste your time going to all these other imitators. Two thumbs way up. Delicioso!

This is the mexican food that I now judge all other mexican food by. The best in Reno by far. The same owners have another place called El Rey that is just as good. Try them both!

Killer Mexican food. Just found this place a couple of months ago and have been there several times now. Pretty busy during lunch but I can see why. Great combo plates, burritos and salsa. My new place. Don't understand the negative review below. I've never had anything bad to say about the place. Two thumbs up.

I am sorry, I have seen the other postings but I found this place to be quite nasty. My stomach also agreed and left me with quite a sick feeling too. I am sorry to offend anyone, but I come from the S. Francisco area, and this place does not qualify as any stretch of the imagination as good Mexican food- it may be cheap but you get what you pay for. Not to mention the chips and salsa or not free if that is something you like, but I even found those to be horrible to. If you value your health, do not try any of the fish products, since nothing they use are fresh.

The BEST!!! Inexpensive, fantastic, fast service. You might have to share a table but that just adds to the charm of the little place. Great burritos, combination plates. You've gotta try the whole fried fish and the ceviche.

The food is awesome! Birria, sopas, the carne asada plate, and you must start with the fresh guacamole. You can't go wrong at Beto's.
