Salsa was watered down the food was watered down no quality at all to what they attempt to make server was ok charge alot for a little most likely not going back!! we were watching the hostess if thats what she was (very unprofessional looking) dipping the filthy rag back and forth into very dirty looking water never using different water to clean the tables!

Went to dinner with my husband, we ate in the bar. Ordered drinks and dinner, bill was almost $50 and they charged me $2 for water. Rice was pretty blah - Uncle Ben's or something. Waitress seemed to forget about us after she brought our dinner and when we finally got our bill we waited and waited for her to pick up the credit card - finally had to take it over to her so we could just sign the ticket and leave. But it was the charging for water that got me - won't go back.

My wife and I go for the large platter of Nachos and a Margarita or two. That is more than enough to fill us up. Comfortable seats, good lighting so you can actually see, and quiet enough you can actually talk to the person across from you without yelling. And they do not blare Mexican music at you at top volume all the time!

I went to Haciendo a few weeks ago. This place sucks! This is not an authentic Mexican Restaurant! The enchilladas were super runny and the rice was gross! Over priced for the quality they serve. The bathrooms, horrible!

Average at best...
By ,
On our last trip to Reno we were craving some Mexican food and margaritas so we decided to check out Hacienda. When ordering margaritas, our waitress didn't know that there were different brands of tequila and I had to go to the computer where they place the orders and show her which tequila we wanted in our pitcher. The margaritas were so weak we had to order a few extra shots to dump in the pitcher just to give it some taste. I ordered the chicken quesadilla which was completely smothered in cheese and my wife had the chicken fajita salad which was ok after they initially brought out the wrong dish. After getting the check we then learned that we were overcharged! Needless to say, we wont be going back to Hacienda

Another Great Mexican Restaurant
By ,
The Hacienda Restaurant at 10580 N Mccarran Blvd has some very good food for the money. Like Bertha Miranda's they make have a great ambiance, only not as open as Bertha's. And I dont think they make everything fresh as I got my Guacamole appatizer rather quickly. But it was really good. I order the Pork Carnitas and while it was good it was not quite what I expected. I am used to it being cubed or chunked and in a sauce, this was whole pieces of meat and there was no green sauce. It wasn't quite as spicy as I prefer either but it did have a great flavor to it. and you get alot for the money. One thing I must brag about though were the chips and salsa. the chips were fresh and had just enough salt to bring out the flavor of the corn. The salsa also had a good overall flavor but was not so hot as to make it overpowering. Another thing I liked about the place is that you can only smoke in the Cantina. I am asmoker but i prefer not to when eating and I dont really like to smell the smoke of others. Overall I had a great experience and will be going back as often as possible.

Best Wednesday night place
By ,
I usually only go on Wed. nights, because of chicks and salsa (dollar margaritas and tacos). The tacos are great and the servers are usually pretty fun and casual. The fried ice cream is excellent too.
