Si Amigos Mexican Restaurant, Reno

Ate dinner at Si Amigos on 6/2/2011. Friendly staff, great service and delicious food. Great chips, salsa and bean dip. 4 dinners, 4 alcoholic beverages = $81.00 before tax and tip. Steak Terero, Pollo Pablano, Beef Carnitas - all great! Many menu selections. Will return again!

Si Amigos is the BEST restaurant in town. They make awesome margaritas, the chips are always warm, salsa always good, service is friendly and timely, the main dishes are to die for. We've been here many times and have never been dissappointed! The other Mexican joints can't compare!!

I've lived in Texas and California...and Si Amigos is top notch. The service is second to none. The chips were fresh, they give you homemade refried beans and excellent salsa. That alone is worth the visit.

im sorry but i disagree with Jim. Si Amigos is the best Mexican restaurant in town. I go there at least once a week and i cant complain is the best mexican food i have eaten.

I moved to Reno from SoCal in October and have been looking for a good Mexican Restaurant since. I have eaten at 7 that were rated highly on the Yahoo local list that were all average and below. Si Amigos was the first we would happily go back to. Good Service, cozy and clean inside. Good parking. The chips were good and they serve a good salsa and a very good bean dip with them. I ordered their Carne Asada and shrimp dinner which was outstanding. The dipping sauce for the shrimp was amazing. We also had the chicken enchilladas which were very good. My beer was served in an frosted glass with lime. We will try some others, but this is by far the best so far and we will be regulars.

Like every taqueria, they pretty much look the same. The atmosphere seemed casual, but the prices were a little pricey. The difference here was, along with your chips and salsa, they also gave you a bowl of bean dip. The burritos were tasty, the margarita's were overflowing. Overall, the service was great and the portions were filling.

One Sunday afternoon my husband and I were searching for a restaurant. We stumbled onto Si Senor Mexican Restaurant. From the first step inside to the last step outside this Restaurant and the Atmosphere was purely from Mexico. I have never been treated as Royalty before they utterly respect you and with such ease as you feel that you are family. The staff, food and pricing were above anything we have ever experienced. Many Fine Dining Restaurants need to take a course in how Si Senor Mexican Restaurant runs their place of business. My husband and I both feel that we will not visit at another Mexican Restaurant ever again. Besides, we live less then three blocks away and our favorite food is Mexican. Ten Cheers for The Best of everything!!!

By far the best mexican in town. Very high quality, absolutely delicious food, big menu, staff is extremely fast and courtious. And the prices cant be beat. I crave this place just about everyday. Don't go I want to keep it as my little secret.
