B J's Bar-B-Q, Sparks

Ate at Famous Daves last night (6.23.11) before Rodeo, what a mistake! Next time back to B J's.

great place, atmosphere and terrific food. i would go back here and i live in Madison.

Me and my family enjoy eating at BJ'S BBQ regularly. The food is awsome!!! The portions are out of control I can never finish my plate!!! The pulled pork is cooked to perfection and the ribs are always fall off the bone!!! We come for the food but stay for the service! Not only are the girls so attentive but they are soooooo nice to look at!!! If you haven't eatin there yet you are truely missing out!

Best BBQ in town. Might not have the tastiest sauce but the best ribs! Ribs should be slow cooked to meff the fat until the meat falls off the ribs. BJ's does it right. The only other place in town that also does it right is Kinder's and they are overpriced. The other places sell fatty ribs. I've NEVER had a bad meal here and I've been going, on and off, for twenty years.

So far the best BBQ that we have been to in Reno. We have not had a bad meal there yet and everyone that works there is very friendly. We have no problem recommending BJ's to guests visiting in Reno. Be sure to pick up some of their dry rub. We use it almost every time we cook ribs at home.

Probably the best ribs in Reno/Sparks. They really know how to smoke the ribs and they don't smother them in sauce. You can actually taste the ribs instead of having a mouth full of sauce like other places in town. Worth the stop.

Last Thurday I was in Sparks and stopped in to see Jay and the gang at BJ'S. On my way out I bought a rack of cold ribs in saranwrap to take home for dinner. Jay wrote the heating instuctions on the bag, just like the the old days, when you got service at a personal level. I also managed to snag a bottle of the new Cherry Chiptole sauce. When I got back to Auburn I tossed them in the oven. WOW! I travel quite a bit and have had many a meal in Texas BBQ places. My wife travels in the south every month. We can tell you after years of sampling ribs, BJ's is right on track with everything they do. Service, atmosphere, food, and the great attitude of everyone in the joint make it my favorite stop in Northern Nevada.

BJ's is the best Bar-B-Q in the country. Being in the military I have traveled a great deal. BJ's is hands down the best Bar-B-Q I have had. It easily tops the food I had in Memphis, Texas and all the other Bar-B-Q hot spots in our great country. BJ's recently catered my daughters birthday party and our guests couldn't stop raving about how great the food was. Do yourself a favor and try Americas best Bar-B-Q right here in Sparks.

I have been a customer since BJ's opened in the 80's and there is no other place I would go for the best bbq. If you are looking for great food and service i highly reccomend this place. I have been to other bbq restaurants in town but this place is still my favorite. The food is consistantly the same every time I go there. The servers are nice and the atmosphere fits the bbq motif. I say try all the places around town and i guarantee that this place is still the best.

Good BBQ and the fish fry on Friday is great. Friendly service, easy parking.
