Las Trojes Mexican Restaurant

I've read reviews that say that people go out of their way to go to Sparks to eat at Las Trojes. Fortunately I live right down the street and I don't have to go out of my way to find great Mexican food! The atmosphere is welcoming and they have live music on the weekends.

I was in a part of Sparks, that I don't usually visit. I had been a long day, I was with my family, and we were hungry. Out of the corner of my eye I the restaurant name, and I remembered it from a comercial or somewhere. I convinced every one to go eat there, but boy...was that a bad decision. I got a bad bive as soon as I entered the place. Too late we were already in there. To make this story short I will give you the facts... Bad service, took for ever for everything, I speak the language but we still got our orders wrong, The food was not good ( I am Mexican, I know) Everything was over priced, and we were overcharged on several items. I let the man at register know I was dissatisfied, but did not recieve an apology, only an excuse. I had never had such a bad experience at a Mexican restaurant in my entire life, any where in the U.S, or Mexico! Thumbs down! No Stars for this restaurant. Las Trojes, on Baring Blvd.
