Sushi Mon, Las Vegas

The staff here have refused to seat me twice even though there were empty seats in the VERY SMALL restaurant. Keep driving to the next sushi restaurant. There s one every 1/4 mile in this town . . .

Tons of places to eat Sushi. Especially in Las Vegas. I was fortunate enough to meet someone when I was in Vegas who knew where a good Sushi spot was to go. They are busy but it is well worth it. The Rock n Roll is the best roll! 007 is great roll too. There are many. I wish we had one of these in Oregon. I always try and go every time im in Vegas which is at least once a year. If your in Vegas or if your traveling through Vegas. Look them up. Great food!

cheap rice that feels like frried rice (not soft and chewy but hard and leathery). cheap cuts of fish, cheap wasabi and cheap pickled ginger but huge amounts for low price = average quality restaurant. this rest could be good when you are wasted and can't tell the difference between fast food and gourmet...just fill up. staff is friendly for such busy restaurant.

HORRIBLE!!!HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! SUSHI MON (Sahara Location) used to be my favorite sushi place for years. The food was great but the servers are terrible. It's not worth going there anymore. Terrible servers.

A haved lived in Las Vegas for 7 years. Have only been to a dozen sushi restaurants, but Sushi Mon is my favorite. For people who don't like to go to the southeast side of town, there is a Sushi Mon near the Summerlin area. It's on Sahara near Cimarron. Best sushi place I have been to. I don't really go for the service, I go for the food. Which is 5/5. The service isn't bad. The only thing I can think of, is that waitresses barely ask if I need anything. But I sit at the bar, so my orders go to the chef (other than sides, which I don't order too often - except fried oyster - really good!) They come in the beginning and 1-2 times during your stay. Price is good too. Like $22 lunch $26 dinner for all you can eat. And they don't follow the time limits strictly. I have been in there for up to 15 minutes after. I think they only do it for people who are trying to abuse the time. But I don't eat TOO much :)

My husband and I love sushi. We moved from California, and have tried a million sushi restaurants. The foods in Sushi mon is very good, but their service is very poor. In spite of their poor service, we went there so many times only because we loved their sushi. But after awhile, good food wasn't worth the bad service. Waitresses and managers are not friendly even to regulars like us. (We used to go there every week for several months!- not any more!!!!!)

Excellent all-you-can-eat Sushi, fairly priced, with a nice variety of appetizers and desert included. It's my go-to place for AYCE in this part of town. If you want a nicer restaurant and fresh vs frozen fish, you can pay 2 or 3 times as much and get a fine meal at I Love Sushi or Sushi-Wa.

We decided to try this place because of the reviews we had read online, but we were not impressed. The service was okay and the food was good but there is really nothing special about Sushi Mon. They do have a variety of rolls but not worth the trip to Henderson. You can definitely find a better place to call your sushi home.
