I know Las Vegas is expensive, but most of the food on my plate consited of rice and beans and the tab for two of the lower cost entres with two drinks came close to $60.00 for lunch. This would had been OK if the food was interesting and authentic. Instead everything was drowned in salt and the meat was too dry. And the range of salsas (mild, medium, hot) tasted like they came from a can -- and the hot salsa was not hot at all. There are better and cheaper places for Mexican food in Las Vegas.

Wow! They way oversalted our dishes. What happened to the Border Grill? Used to have a great reputation for innovative, fresh cuisine. Now its serving at the Vegas site tasteless mush. Our experience revealed this is no better than a Mexican chain operation. Service was bad. Chips were good. Margaritas were good but expensive. Entrees were terrible.

The Margaritas are the Best. The Guacamole is to die for and the Tamales are a must have. Sit outside and enjoy the sites and sounds of Mandalay Bay's lazy river. I go to Vegas just for their margaritas and food.

Excellent service and food!

This place surprised me (and the group I was with), the food was really good (yes, in Las Vegas). I highly recommend the carne asada. Good value for Vegas as well.

This restaurant in Mandalay Bay is pretty standard fresh-mex fare, but done well. An extensive menu provides choices for anyone - definitely a good family destination, especially for a large group. The prices are also pretty reasonable for Las Vegas. The decor is nothing special - sort of formulaic mexican kitch. The service, as most places at Vegas hotels, was attentive, pleasant and completely un-pretentious.
