Sorry. But this is an average New Orleans restaurant in an overrated town. That said, best in Vegas. Somewhat far from the strip but still worth the trip. Definitely not the rating given by Zagat (normally stingy and accurate) -- who rated it that high? -- the same people who call Vegas home I guess.
We went there on a weekeday and had wonderful service, delicious food, then went on Friday completely oppisite experince. The food was still good, except it smelled of bad fish in the air which kind turned my stomach. Needless to say it was ver disappointing. Feel they took it to there head the poplarity and things have gone downhill so unfortunate.
As many of the descriptions above (except for the negative one), the place was surpirsingly good. Well, I guess the only reason it's a surprsie is due to it's surroundings. At arrival, it does take you off guard that such a highly rated restaurant isn't located at the Wynn or Bellagio. Goes to show you how programed we are to judge before we get to the meat of the matter. Anyway, the service, staff and ambiance was trully delightful. We saw so many dishes that we wanted to try that, we split severla apps and entres. I have been to all the top establishments in Vegas and live in Miami which has several great places to dine. This is by far one of the best dinning experiences in my life. DOn't leave Las Veags with out stopping at Rosemary's!
Six of us just returned from Las Vegas where we dined in some of the finest restaurants there. Rosemary's was the place that had the best food.
Don't let the location in a strip mall stop you from dining here. Once you step into the restaurant, you are in for a wonderful meal. The food was outstanding and the service equally top notch. All the meats and seafood we ate were delicious. Several waitstaff served us during our meal and they were attentive and courteous. From appetizers to dessert, this place is incredible.
I have eaten at Rosemary's numerous times for lunch. Great service always and excellent food. The prix fixe lunch special cannot be beat. I eat there about 4 times a year the last being December '05 and the next time will be June '06 and I cannot wait. BBQ shrimp with blue cheese coleslaw YUMMY!
Really good food and service, but don't be fooled by the prices listed above. Main entrees run from $28 - 44, then if you want side dishes, salad, or soup, its extra. Appetizers and desserts are extra. For two people (without drinking) you can easily spend over $100. That said, its totally worth it, the food is outstanding, the service is wonderful. I wish I could cook as well as this chef. It was truly unbelievably good!
