Carmines Little Italy, Las Vegas

Love it! Brings back so many good memories! I was in the mood for good old style Italian comfort food! (after watching Jersey Shore and their Sunday Italian dinners!) We had there Lasagna, clams & PIzza for the kids! There Spumoni Ice Cream cake is the best! It had been closed.....but they are back! Great customer service & the family (owners) always stop by your table to say hello.

We ate at Carmines for the umteeth time last night (Valentines Day)and could not have been more pleased. I have made it a point to try a differnt pasta or entre each time and have now sampled about half the menu. Every dish has been excellent! Service is always friendly and since I eat there often I usually ask the cook to prepare my sauces a little spicy and they do it perfectly. I think their bread is to die for and their deserts are also wonderful. My girlfreind will simply not eat Veal anywhere else. The place changed ownership a few months back and the new owner Ben is as friendly and knowledgeable as Carmine and Frank were. Ben has not tinkered with success and his staff is even more talented than ever. The prices here for teh quality served are almost a st-especially his seafood dishes. It is always a pleasure to eat here and his 50% of the menu on Wednesdays make him among the best bargains in the city. While he is not close to the strip, he is well worth the drive and even being with large screen tv's the place is never really that noisy. My husband and I have been to Carmines several times and I can honestly say my husband loves the place. I have not been that impressed but today we went out to celebrate his birthday and we received the BEST service we have ever had. Britney, our wait person, was so incredibly good that if we knew she was going to be waiting on us, I would insist on going more often. Not once were our glasses empty and we never had to request more bread, she was there asking us. Once you get away from the strip, service goes down hill but today it was wonderful Thanks Britney

There are lots of TV's (it is a sports bar) and the food was amazing. We ate at the bar which is something I normally don't like to do, but it was nice. It was a fun atmosphere and the service was great. I'll definately go back!
