They are out of service. service was slow food most often came out cold. all but one waitress could care less if you needed help or not. Rhonda was the only waitress that cared. I went there often only because it was close for me. I talke to a lot of people who felt the same way as I did.

I love the country cafe!! I went for the first time about 3 months ago and fell in love. Its all the stuff i wish i could cook at home but lack the skills :)EXCELLENT SERVICE, CLEAN, BEST FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS IN VEGAS!! IT FEELS LIKE FAMILY!! I've been going ever since then. The staff is amazing and i like to give credit to those who deserve it. My favorite waitress is Kelly(very friendly and attentive) and My cook was Lammar(almost like he makes the food as if it were for him very good cook)Will eat there again, and again, and again!!

We use to go to the old Location (LVBlvd and Lamb) once a week. Service was excellent food was outstanding. But... then came to the switch to the new Nellis location. We were excited because to us this meant growth for a family owned business around the base. Since the switch service has became non-existent. We slowly began to stop going. After having a bad experience the last time we were there (maybe 2 months ago) we said we weren't going back because it seemed that it was never going to get better. But, tonight my husband suggested we go. When we arrived there were literally only 3 tables occupied and it took 10 minutes for us to even get noticed to get seated. Then once we got seated it took another 10 minutes to get drinks. Then the people started to pour in. There was only one waitress so the cook was getting drinks. 35 minutes after being seated we still had not even had our order taken. Then the waitress came out and said she had backup coming. No apology no nothing. Finally she came took our order when the owners showed up to help. Another 20 minutes still no food. So we paid for our drinks and left. Once you get your service back up to par let us know at that point we would be happy to come back and not until then.

I think this place is the best! A few times in here and you are a member of Chef Ed's extended family-Thanks for the support Ed! The food is terrific-Wednesday is spaghetti night and it is the only spaghetti besides my own that I will eat! Also it is all you can eat, but one plate is enough! All the food is great and we are now pretty regular visitors! Thanks for everything Ed!

The new location is worth the few extra minutes of drive time. The staff has always been friendly and taken care of us. All of the specials are excellent. I highly recommend the huge ham steak, meatloaf, chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak, and the burgers are excellent as well. I've never had a bad meal here. Take it from an old crusty military guy, the Country Cafe will take care of you, and you might need a nap after the meal.

The food is great, but the service was terrible the two times i went there, example drink with no straws, ask for a condiment, never brought it back had to ask again. Ordered to pick up and was not prepared like I said over the phone even though I was assured it would be. (wanted gravy on my meatloaf). Not a big deal but it was the attitude of not caring that it was wrong when i called back to tell them about it. It seems like because familty members work there a sort of not caring attitude exist. I will still go there because like i said the food is great, but please tell the employees to work on there service skills.

This place is amazing. The best breakfast I have had in vegas, give up the diet for a day and try their sausage links, large and packed with flavor.Great sized portions too.Reminds me of the breakfasts we use to have on my Uncle Berts ranch.Of course they serve smaller breakfasts but eat this one and your ready for a day on the open range. They have a daily special for lunch and dinner that you can never go wrong with.Genuine pot roast, homemade meatloaf and steaks that are out of this world.Burgers that dare I say are gourmet. No skimpy little salad eaither it is always fresh. The daily homemade soup is a meal in itself with fresh ingrediants not canned. There is a THAI appetizer that leaves you begging for more. The wait staff is the best there is.Friendly and ready to go out of their way to make sure your dining experiance is totally satisfying and fun. Extremely child friendly to the point your childs drawing goes up on the wall. With the owner on the premises this little cafe is one of the best kept secrets in Vegas. To top this all off they cater. With their impeccable eye for detail they make everything special.Even a gourmet chef who will help you plan your menu. From everyday to gourmet this place is the only way. 5 stars from me.
