Best Italian food in Las Vegas and at a reasonable (for Las Vegas strip casino) price. I am in Vegas 2x/ year on business and have never missed a chance to have dinner there. Usually, the casino restaurants are tourist traps, not this one. Great authentic Italian cuisine and a very good wine list.
Not only are the two last posters bad grammatically, they apparently would not know a good restaurant if it bit them on the ... .
Make sure you have a lunch or dinner at this place if you are in Vegas,
you will most likely love the food and the atmosphere.
Why is listed under fine dining ? The food and service SUCKS, but their prices are high for what they offer.Although we are in customer service business,is one of the few times that we made a wrong selection,as well as at the Il Fornaio in New York New York which is the same company. If Venetian had a Buffet or if this Restaurant was out of a Casino, would have been out of business long time ago.
We loved the food and ambiance and the feel of being in Venice! My husband thought it was the best steak in Vegas and I loved the seafood. The waiters were attentive without being intrusive and when we return in December my husband wants to spend his 75th birthday there
We had a private room overlooking the square and Gondolas, It was Fantastic!
The food was outstanding, the private lounge area, music coming up from the square, perfect. Our private wait staff were just wonderful.
From the appetizers to desert...Everyone enjoyed the food! Not a single complaint.
If I ever come to Vegas with a small group of people again, I would be on the phone the instant I was booked and reserve a private room at Caneletto.
My husband has always wanted to try this restaurant, but I'm not a big fan of Italian food. Anyway, we tried it and WOW!! The food was to die for. My husband had one of their brick oven pizzas and I had a specialty item of theirs. The flavors in both of the entrees were unbelievable. The atmosphere was neat(sit out on the patio, not inside the restaurant). It was just like sitting on a street in venice with the ceilings painted like the sky, the gondolas going down the steets and the opera singers walking about. One tip I would give is that you go there for dinner. We went for lunch which was nice, but at dinner time, the ceiling turns a dusk color and the street lamps are dimly lit. It is a BEAUTIFUL sight.
