When we went to Las Vegas, a few people told us Olives was a nice place to go, so my fiancee and I made reservations and when we went we were very disappointed in the service. The host was very snobby and had a sour attitude, the waiter was nice but after we got our food he never checked back to see how things were. After we had finished our food, we were waiting dessert but he never offered us the dessert menu. I feel that the main goal of the restaurant is to get people in and out, they do not care about making life long customers, the menu prices reflect this as well. This will most likely hurt them in the long run, with us spending over 150 dollars on dinner and no one offering us dessert and no one checking on our food... That is not something that I would go back for.

Out of all the restaurants I looked forward to the most...I for some reason could not wait to try Olives....I was not satisfied with the food. To be honest we had better food at the Bellagio Cafe. Which is sad because its in a great spot. This is the second Todd English restaurant I have been disatisfied with...the second being "Todd English's Tuscuny" @ the Mohegan Sun in CT. Though the margarita was quite tasty....

Just ate there (3/14/10). Disappointment is an understatement, and I didn't even have high expectations. The first sign of trouble was the bland basket of cardboard bread put in front of us. I should have known better at that point. The olive tapenade was the high point. We had the gnocchi which is best described as "gnasty". My flatbread pizza was slightly better than CPK, and that is charitable (seriously). Don't waste your money.

The beef carpaccio is one of the best items on the menu. Try to reserve the fountain tables.

Great!!!! Staff is friendly. Atmosphere is fun. Food is amazing. Bartender is the best. Try the Tiffany Martini.

The setting is wonderful if you have the opportunity to sit outside. The food is average and we were very disappointed with it as we have several of Todd's cookbooks and enjoy the food at home. The food just didn't quite hit great. Well presented, well cooked, but just OK. We had a good waiter, but had read other reviews that were not great, and could understand the comments while we were there. It wouldn't be our 1st choice.

We like to eat lunch here, on the patio if possible. Concentrate on the appetizers - they are far more interesting than the entrees. Get a few and share them. What interesting flavors has Todd English combined.

The most obnoxious wait staff on earth. Food was okay. There are several better places at the bellagio, and about 40 better on the strip. If this were in my hometown, it would be really good, but its not on par with higher end Vegas eateries. Maybe Id like the food better if the wait staff didnt think of themselves as royalty. Guys, youre not Guy Savoy, so just relax and bring the food.

Todd English never disappoints when it comes to great food, and Olives provides a charming decor of beautiful mosaic tiled floors and warm woods, all with a lovely view of the Bellagio fountains. The service, however, is horrible. The wait staff rush around like chickens with their heads cut off, and the front hostess ignores your reservation and any seating requests. Olives acts far too pretentious for its own good.

The view of the Bellagio water show complemented the dining experience at Olives. The staff was very helpful. The Fig & Prosciutto flatbread was excellent and is a must as an appetizer. Overall, I enjoyed the meal along with the atmosphere of the restaurant and the view. Plus, the cost of the meal was much less than expected.
