I love sushi but not when it's pre-prepared like Todai does. A positive for Todai is the selection of other stuff they offer. There's plenty of good non-warming, not prepared this morning non-sushi items to indulge in. But if you're not there for the sushi, it's not a good value for the price.
Also, in my opinion foods like sushi, clams, mussels and oysters are delicacies, and really aren't for the American-ish all you can eat menus- a case of too much of a good thing not being a good thing at all.
