The Carnival Buffet at RIO totally sucks!
It's true that it might be the biggest buffet at any hotel, but the quality of the food stinks. Also, the RIO is off the strip...but they do provide free shuttle service.
If you want an AWSOME buffet, the Bellagio or Wynn is where you want to go. They are a bit more expensive than the others, but DEFINITELY worth it!
The seafood buffet at the RIO is the best in the USA! Where else can you find lobster tails on a buffet? It ain't cheap but it is well worth it! It will set you back $75 for two but you will leave there in bliss......
Over the years I've been to numerous buffets in Vegas!! Mirage, The Bellagio, Paris, and PH. None compare to The Rio!! What makes Rio stand out is variety, and quality. There's alot to choose from, and food is always fresh!! Every time I go to Vegas, and I have to here. If you haven't been to The Rio, I suggest to take a plane to Vegas tomorrow and go!! You won't be disapointed!!
This was not the best in Vegas, Crab legs were small, a lot of the food looked stale for being a Saturday night, Staff took a long time to get drinks and the majority of the food was not authentic. They had little variety for desserts. I will only visit if I had to. The Belagio is way better for the same price and you are still on the strip. Don't be fooled
