Mesa Grill, Las Vegas

Don t waste your time. Food was bland and service and atmosphere was stuffy. If I am going to pay $32 for a small piece of chicken with nothing else, then it better be the best piece of chicken I had ever had. It was as if they threw a few spices on it, put it in the oven and served it up. Nothing special.

Went to Mesa Grill in las Vegas and got food poisoning. My husband ended up in the emergency room and almost had to get his stomach pumped. Needless to say we will never go there again.

Don't bother. Noisy uncomfortable environment that's supposed to be "vibrant and upbeat", but just irritates. Food that is mediocre and smothered in disgustingly sweet honey or jalapeno tasting sauces. Staff isn't necessarily rude, but isn't exactly friendly. Menu is overpriced for the quality. Severe disappointment considering the press and fanfare associated with Bobby Flay and Mesa NY, wish I would have went to Bradley Ogden.

We went here on a recent trip to Vegas. Not sure about the previous posts complaining about food poisoning but we both had zero troubles with it. The pork tenderloin I got might have been the best dish I've ever eaten. The waitress was irritating and inattentive but the food was AMAZING.

This is a fantastic restaurant. The squash blossom appetizer was perfect. It was very light but had a rich taste (didn't know you could do that) and the jalapeno-mint lamb chop was very tasty. The waitress we had was quite possibly the best I've ever had in a restaurant. She knew the tequila menu like the back of her hand and suggested a tequila for our margaritas that was perfect and wasn't even one of the most expensive on the menu.

Well, well, well! After the Elton John concert, we went to the Mesa Grill for dinner. The staff and the food were both exceptional, but the next two days were nothing too pleasing. Food poisoning from the spinach side dish (my companion had the same halibut entree and was fine, but he did not eat the spinach) left me in bed and in pain and on the toilet for the remainder of the trip. I mentioned this at checkout and got nothing but a look. I mentioned this to the bell desk captain and he opened up to me that I was the third guest to complain about this! Hmmmmm. Food, 3 1/2 stars; staff; 4 1/2 stars; total Caesar's experience; 2 stars, due to the food poisoning and lack of caring from the front desk staff.

I was really impressed with the food and drinks here. Everything you order is going to impress you, trust me. I had a rock shrimp appetizer and a spicy plum-sauced chicken with tamale for dinner, and both were out of this world. Make a reservation and come hungry!

We could not have been happier with our experience at Empress Court. Not only was the food fabulous but the service and the atmosphere were just as enjoyable. This dinner was comped for us but we would go again to pay for a night out again too. Its typically around $35 or so per person. With a two or a group, there are dinner specials that include different courses for each. Its well more than enough to fill you up. I would definitely suggest reservations even though I do not believe it is required.

Mesa Grill is Bobby Flay's restaurant inside of the beautiful Caesar's Palace Hotel and Casino. This place has such amazing and tasty food, it's definitely a place to go!

Took a client here for a business lunch. Our reservation was honored and we were seated immediately upon arrival. The service was perfect as we were obviously talking business - they were careful not to interupt us. The meal was really spectacular and a memorable place.
