My husband and I went to Delmonico's for our 30th anniversary dinner...last Monday night...it was fantastic. I didn't know if they would be good on Monday, vs on the weekend, but we were very pleased with our entire experience. The steaks were delicious, appetizers wonderful, dessert was great. The service was attentive. We were in the wine room, and I liked the decor, it was not your typical steakhouse feel, but to me it was simple and elegant. We would definitely go there again! We have had many fine meals, and I would count this one amongst the top.

My wife surprised me with a trip to Las Vegas. I told her I wanted to eat at a nice restaurant one night. I chose Delmonico's because of Emeril's reputation and being from my home state of Louisiana. I cannot stress enough how disappointed I was. I saw Lamb on the menu and just knew it would be great. I love a good, rare lamb. What I had was more like mutton! It was pink on the outside of two pieces and that was it. The rest was overdone and tough. It's like they cooked it on both sides of a whole rack and then cut it in half. Most of the chops were cooked well done My friend had the pork and it was dry and flavorless. My wife had the Filet and it was great. ( I guess next time I go to a steak house, I should get steak). However, for $48 for four lamb chops, it should at least be cooked right. Secondly, the $80 bottle of wine was also very disappointing. I won't trash the wine itself because it was suggested by the steward. I'm guessing they were just trying to get rid of it! The only thing good about the restaurant was the service. There were three people taking care of the four of us and all were pleasant, attentive and helpful. I don't eat at $100 a meal restaurants too often. But when I do, it should at least have edible food. Next time I will stick to the buffet at the Bellagio. Cheaper and much better food.

Reviewed by FloridaBoy1, on 06/24/2010, Made a reservation, and modified it twice, I showed up with 10 folks and they were ready. I have eaten at many of Emeril restaurants and I felt like I could depend on his good name tofind an establishment of excellence like we have depended on for over 15years. Their people, coordination and food service was again very high. BBQued Shrimp were great, but not the classic NOLA style. Steaks were the top.

I took my wife and daughter here during spring break. Whow. We each ordered a different kind of steak. Each came out exactly as ordered and at exactly the same time! The steaks were a lot bigger than expected and we had to ask for doggie boxes. (We finished it off the next day!) Great wine selection. Great service. My only complaint is the table are too close together and if the people next to you do not bump you, the waiter does as he passes between tables. That was a real pain. They need to rearrange the seating. Ask for a corner table to avoid this problem. If they fix that, I would give them five stars.

Despite its monestary-like decor the restaurant served a rib eye and filet medallions which were both quite good - and perfectly done. Service was excellent - although we were there early and there were few other patrons to distract the seemingly over-abundant staff. n.b., Nobody can ever accuse Delmonico's of portions that are too small.

Great steak, good service, but the rest of the dinner very poor. The barbeque shrimp was so sauced up it didn't matter what was underneath it. Really not good at all. Caesar salad one of the worst I've had. The room is drab and almost strange. The mushrooms were great but the rest of the sides were overcooked. If all you are looking for is one of the best steaks on the strip, by all means go. I however, made my first and last trip.

Exceptional service every time, great steaks and sides! Barbeque shrimp app is tremendous. The decor is simplistic, can be loud, but the chairs are amazingly comfortable and its upscale without being stuffy. Sometimes people can be underdressed, but thats Vegas.

Excellent food, great service, not so hot decor. This is an excellent restaurants many say it's the best steakhouse in the strip. Would eat there 100 times.

Not quite as good as last experience here 3 years ago. The crab cake was floating in an aioli type sauce which reminded me of hidden valley ranch - although the actual crab cake was great. Lobster bisque had plenty of chunks of lobster, nice. Steak had distinct dry age flavor, a bit heavy compared to what I am used to. Wine list excellent. Deserts very good as well. Bottom line complaint is the lack of the "essence" to the steak. No crisp.
