The Goddess LOVES the Golden Nugget!!! Where to begin? Where to begin?! In the mood for a great steak? Try Vic and Anthony's--it's DELICIOUS!!!! Nice, romantic atmosphere too. Chinese more your thing? Lillie's Noodle House has fantastic chinese food. What I really like about Lillie's is that they use high quality ingredients and the meats they use in their dishes never seem fatty or greasy. The Nugget has a nice pool area with private cabana rentals available and they also have very pleasant spa facilities. After a night at the tables, sometimes a nice long massage is just what the Doctor ordered (wink). Don't shy away from this place just because it's downtown--the hotel is actually very, very nice. Try it, you'll like it!
The Golden Nugget exceeded my expectations. I was amazed at the large staff keeping the premises spotless. Food servers were polite and cheerful ... which made the guests polite and cheerful too.
It was a delightful experience to stay there.
Golden Nugget is a very nice property among a bunch of very dingy hotels. The rooms are nicely appointed and the food is above average. The casino floor is very well organized with a wide variety of poular games.
One of the things that I did not like was that this is a very high density property which always feels crowded. Also, the refurbished pool are a is extremely crowded which males for a less than relaxing experience. Having said that, if I stay downtown again I would return to Golden Nugget
The lady taking care of our room was very rude . She said we had to get out
so that she clean the room. Our room was not cleaned that day. The next day we had to call down for towels and other things. Our trash cans were full for two days.Like I said its the 1st in six years of going there.
I love the golden nugget, I have stay at almost every 5 star hotel on the strip and the golden nugget is just as nice as they are if not nicer. You get so much for your money and I love the suites. We have been staying at the Golden Nugget now for over 7 years. It was a beautiful hotel when Steve Wen owned it, but it's even more beautiful since the Laundry's bought it out. Stay their you won't be sorry. Their isn't a hotel in the US or outside the US that is going to give you a room and the accommodations for that price. It's a beautiful four star hotel.
