Its a nice hotel with nice staff, complaining about a wristband and giving it a 1 rating because of that is riducluous. I wonder about people, how do they function in life with such trivial complaints.
Hadn't been here for about 6 years - used to be there every NY Eve and had a super time. While the staff was wonderful, the place was clean and neat, the restaurants were wonderful the casino has had a revelation of some sorts. Where did all of the machines go? There are about 2/3's less slot machines from our last visit and not a good mix of old and new games like Harrah's Atlantic City, Las Vegas or Reno have. Never heard a machine go off for a jackpot like in the past years. Will we return? Don't know - need to upgrade the casino and get machine level back up. Rented a car and left 2 days before due to leave and went to Vegas - Harrah's L V has many machines to choose from. Stopped by one of the other casinos in Laughlin to see if they were the same but found all kinds of machines and all the latest. Harrah's Laughlin is a beautiful place with wonderful scenery but need to get back into the action. We tried to talk others into joining us and boy are we glad we didn't. Please get back up where you used to be so we have a desire to return.
I didn't find the hotel dirty and filled with rude employees like many of the people posted on this survey. I found our room clean and the view of the river stellar, actually it was just breath taking. The deep tub was excelent for a hot bath and the water was drinkable not like Las Vegas water. The Beach cafe had good food for reasonable prices and the waiters were super friendly. The only thing I agreed with on the other people posts was the fact that the slots were tight. Here in Vegas you put in a twenty and you can play for an hr. AT Harrahs five min tops. My wife only gambled half the money she took to gamble with because she felt she wanted to have fun losing her money not have it gobbled up by the worst slots we ever experienced in twenty years. When we walked in to check in a couple came out and we heard them say just how terrible the slots were.
My wife said they will do nothing about it and if she owned the casino they would have to put a gun to her head before she would change the slots. Harrahs corp are just being good Americans with those tight slots because America is the best economy on earth because of greed. Harrahs wins the prize for greed.
We will without doubt come back but will not gamble when we do.
We stayed at Harrahs Laughlin while moving our son to Kingman AZ. from upstate New York. Our experience was wonderful..Beautiful, clean room, great service from front desk to maid service. Everyone was very attentive to all our needs. And the beach on the Colorado River was the best surprise of all since we were there in the middle of August!!! We will return on all our visits to Kingman to visit our son. Thanks
My wife and I just returned from Harrah's in Laughlin, and it was a very rewarding experience. The staff was very courteous, and I assure you that we were in contact with a good number of Harrah's staff over a four night stay.
We ate at their restaurants and found the menus to be quite good.
It was obvious that during our visit, the good people at Harrah's made every effort to make our visit a pleasurable one.
We look forward to another trip to Harrah's in Laughlin.
Attention to whom it may concern:
I have stayed at your hotel several times in the past 10 years. I drive over from central Arizona. I love staying at Harrah's, Laughlin, but haven't gotten a good package deal for quite some time. It would be nice to get a newsletter similar to one's other hotels write. Due to the fact that we are quite a distance away, it would be nice to get some decent room rates occassionally, thus, encouraging us to visit more frequently.
when we went it was so much fun they have a pool and an area for there guests to play in the sand and rent jet skis.Everytime we go to laughlin we go to the harrahs.they have starbucks,mc donalds, cinnabon, baskenrobbins and they have an arcade for your kids which is open till midnight in the summer.they also have resturants.
Its the best!
We have stayed here the last few times we went to Laughlin. Most of the the staff is great, except for the cleaning staff. The housekeepers are very rude. Also we have been stuck in the kiddie tower twice after reserving rooms in the renovated South tower. The North tower is old and disgusting with stained carpet, gross restooms, and popcorn ceilings.
