Chicago Joes Restaurant, Las Vegas

In today for lunch. 4 of us who had the great pleasure, with Travis attending our needs and inquiries. Very 'Best Of' everything from Travis. Thanks folks. Well done and worth the efforts getting here....110% value, great food and service. Thank you all sincerely.

I like this place alot the staff was nice and friendly The food was good for the price and portions where decent. I love to try some neat foods and this place had some The manager was nice and made sure we had what we needed i would tell people to go here. Good job.

DEFINATELY WORTH A VISIT

Being Italian, I know wonderful Italian food. My Fiance and I love to go to Chicago Joe's. The wine selection is fantastic, and I have never had a meal I didn't love. I expecially like the eggplant Parm!!

This place is a breath of fresh air from the Strip, even for us tourists. The decor isn't fancy, but its charm is authentic and not contrived. The food is quite good and the sauces are great, though they're applied a little too generously. The service is casual, engaging, and welcomely not rushed.

The place is unique, in a small house in downtown Las Vegas, not one of the many knockoffs or franchised places. The sauce, marianara, that I had on my ravioli was maybe the best I ever had, just a touch of sweetness and faily thick but not overly so and made the cheese stuffed ravioli a delight. Additionally the bread was freshly baked and came out hot. All four in our party enjoyed the meal very much and raved about the sauce, one member had the soup (pasta fagoli) and said it was very good. However, the salad was just ordinary, not even as good as we concoct at home. The standard ice berg lettuce, a couple of small black olives and marble sized tomatoes and an Italian dressing that probably came from a bottle. The place is very small and with a crowd like last night we ended up in a corner with hardly room to move. Another visit is in order!

I visited Chicago Joe's last night and I loved it. From the bread being light and fluffy, the wine selection being right on the spot, to the soup being perfectly tasty and the chicken parm being better than I have ever had - this place is an A+. The staff is friendly, relaxed, and attentive and I can not wait to tell everyone I know how much I love this place!!!!

Living on past glory. What once was, is no longer. Once a year is enough.

A Vegas institution in old town. If you like old-fashioned Italian & haven't high expectations, drop in at Joe's. Nothing has changed in 40 years.
