Hugo's Cellar

Description

This is the place to impress your date by making her feel exquisitely pampered. The lady is presented with a rose upon entering this fine eatery at the Four Queens Hotel . Ask for a curtained booth if you wish total privacy. The menu is delightful, providing an outstanding selection of steaks, poultry and seafood dishes. The chicken dishes are excellent, and the steaks are incredibly seasoned with crushed peppercorns. The restaurant offers one of the best wine lists in town with prices ranging from moderate to expensive.

I recently dined at Hugo's Cellar. I order the seafood trio. The dining experience was wonderful. Unfortunately, approximately one hour after eating at Hugo's I experienced a significant episode of intestinal distressed to say the least. I think the sea bass was undercooked since I rarely have intestinal problems. Something was wrong. This occurred on my last night in Vegas. It was an unfortunate experience!

I came to Hugo's a long time ago, but I will always remember the great food, service and ambiance! I loved it and hope to go again some day. A reservation would be a good idea since it seems to always be full especially on weekends.

This is one of the best! We love Hugo 's. To make sure you can eat at a reasonable time a reservation is definately a good idea.

We have returned to this restaurant for the delicious food on every recent visit to LV.Sadly, service has become exceptionally slow with an unresponsive management. We waited 1 1/2 hrs between salad and the main dish course on our 11/2/07 visit! 4 hours from seating until we finished our main course made staying for dessert not an option. Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend this restaurant. Fortunately, there is a lot of competition of equal quality in LV.

A Wonderful dining experience. Fantastic food with great service in a cozy setting. You just have to make it into the Hotel.

I'll definitely be back again. Terrific service from the several people that attended to us. Great tableside salad. Had the Chateaubriand & Lobster Tails for 2. Don't miss this step back into "old" Las Vegas!

It is a pleasure to review Hugo's Cellar. No, it isn't a fancy "Strip" establishment, but it offers honest drinks, a superior wine list, dedicated wait staff and delicious food. If you are impressed by big name chefs, over the top decor and glitz, then go elsewhere . . . however, if good food, attentive service and excellent wines are more important, then Hugo's is an absolute "must do". The rose for each lady is a romantic plus.

A downtown institution and worth the trip. It has been among the best in Las Vegas for years and maintains its status as among the top in town. Roses for the ladies abound and the ambiance is sure to engender a post-dinner, romantic interlude.
