I usually love places like this that are small and feel like they are owned by authentic families. Although this is small, the food is simply passable and nothing more. I would have given it a 3 star rating, but the horrible egg foo yung changed it to a 2 star for me. The plastic cuterly and plates when you dine in are sad and also dropped the 3 I would have otherwise given them. If they dropped the egg foo yung and used real cutlery, then they would simply be a 3 star, but never more.
After reading the great reviews, I decided to dine here with a friend. The small room with only 4 tables is really not geared to those dining in as there is no atmosphere and they serve everything on styrofoam plates and give you plastic forks. From the food I didn't get the impression that this is an authentic Chinese experience as others have commented. The orange chicken was tough as shoe leather and overcooked but the sauce was good. The only good thing was their Moo Shu Pork. The steamed dumplings were my favorite. They are the best I've tasted in Las Vegas. But if you want more of a sit down dining experience instead of a fast food joint, go to Grand China in the Von's plaza on Horizon Ridge Pkwy and Horizon Drive.
We have tried them all during the last 6 years in the area. Little Dumpling is the best of them all. We stopped trying the others. Their fried rice is great - which is how we usually judge Chinese takeout; and their sweet and sour chicken arrives piping hot, crunchy, with tender chicken. The steamed dumplings are a particular favorite of ours. The staff is very friendly in the store and on the phone. Every order has been delivered as ordered and very quickly. Give them a try!!
Went to this little out of the way place and was not very impressed. Decided to do take out as the place was small and not very clean. Also had a small child running around screaming. Took home the food and as we were eating it I felt something very strange in my mouth. I took it out and it was a fine metal wire like inside a bread tie, lucky I didnt swallow it, cant imagine what that would do to ones insides. So needless to say, am never going back there. The food was so, so, very greasy, and the peas in teh fried rice were hard as a rock.
My Wife and I, ate here this afternoon. What a great meal!
We've tried other Chinese Restauarts in the Henderson, NV. area.
Little Dumpling beat everyone by a long shot. The quality of the food cooked fresh and served piping hot, plus the size of portions.
This is truly one outstanding Restauarts to check out for yourself.
We are already planning to go back for some more delicious food.
