LUNCH BUFFET GOOD DEAL AT $9.50+TAX BUT DINNER OVERPRICED; AVERAGE FOOD
I had dinner on Sunday night; paid $23+tax+tip for a vegetarian thali [assorted platter]; big disappointment as small quantity of mediocre food; way overpriced. Went to lunch buffet on Monday; $9.50+tax+tip; much better deal; all you can eat and much better variety, both vegetarian and nonvegetarian choices; nice mango dessert
Elegant service to make you feel special. The food is presented beautifully, and is savory. The food, according to my dining partner who is from Mombai, is authentic and as good as you can get in the finer restaurants in India.
I agrree, the food was good, however, the ambience is little mediocre. The service was a bit slow eventhough we were the only one in the restaurant. I recommend this place if you want good food - great chicken tikka masala.
This is a very good restaurant. I have lived on 2 continents and ate at many Indian restaurants. It is definitely the best in Santa Fe. If you are from a large city like Boston or San Fransisco, you might be disappointed, but the food is good, the prices are reasonable, the garlic naan is great, and the waitstaff is good but not great. Any time a take someone out including dates, this place is the first on the list and no one has been disappointed yet. It is also awesome because it has free parking and is located for the perfect after meal stroll through old-town Santa Fe. IMPORTANT: If you like it traditionally spicy than you need to tell them when you order. They tone it down for the American Palette unless you say otherwise.
