Second Street Brewery
This true neighborhood pub offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere, great beer, and fantastic food. If you are looking for a cozy place to kick back and relax, head to the Second Street Brewery. The restaurant offers a number of appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, and entrees. The specialty of the house is the beer-battered Fish & Chips. For something lighter, try the Jerk Chicken Sandwich. Favorite brews include Cream Stout, Golden Ale and India Pale Ale. This is a family establishment, and children are more than welcome here.
The place isn't all that clean, the waitstaff not all that fast, but the waitstaff is friendly, knowledgable and gets the orders right. The food is delicious, the microbrew selection is great and the wines are well selected unusual choices to fit anyone who enjoys trying new wines.
A couple of miles from the plaza, this restaurant and brew pub is a pretty good lunch stop. While both the food and service are a little spotty, you will usually get a good hamburger and perhaps the best fish and chips in Santa Fe. The beers aren't bad either.
