Description

This busy little diner is a local favorite for Greek grub. The laid-back atmosphere and portions-big-enough-for-two make Pyramid Cafe a bustling destination for lunch and dinner. The sandwiches are stacked generously with meats including traditional lamb. Try the Gyros Plate or the Moussaka, you won't be disappointed.

Fresh, sumptuous Greek food lovingly prepared. Generous portions, great seasonings, tastes homemade. The lentil soup, Greek salad, Lamb Cous Cous, and Beef Marga are exquisite! the coconut baklava is amazing. Such hospitality, such a feast!

Solid, not-fancy Greek and other Mediterranean food in a simple storefront. This is exactly the kind of place I wish Santa Fe had in greater numbers. My go-to in town for a really tasty gyro and house-cut fries.

And They Have Belly Dancers!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/5/07
I ended up at the Pyramid Cafe by accident on a rainy Thursday night. From the outside it looked like a little hole-in-the-wall place (I love places like that) but as I stepped through the door I was surprised to find that it was much more! Decorated with warm Tunisian colors, art and textiles, I was ready to experience a yummy meal with great atmosphere. I found a table in the main room and ordered the Pyramid Chicken (huge portions! Fantastic food!!!!!!). Soon after I ordered I found out that they have Belly Dancers perform every Thursday night. I had arrived a bit before they started (7:00 pm) so I took my time eating (savoring!) my food and enjoyed a glass of wine while watching the beautiful dancing! It was a wonderful treat. I highly recommend this place. If you want to see the Belly Dancers go on a Thursday night! Enjoy, I know I did.

THE place to go in Northern New Mexico for Greek F
By Azmat B, 11/4/06
I'm fortunate that there is also a Pyramid Cafe here in Los Alamos. The gyro plate is very tasty, with a liberal helping tasty gyro meat and tzatziki sauce. The salad the accompanies it is chock full of flavor and color. Come on an empty stomach and leave full!

great homemade Tunisian and Mediterranean food
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/15/06
The food is healthy and well-made, the servings are large, the lunch buffet is a great deal. The salad plate with choices of baba ganoush, roasted chile salad, carrot salad, dolmas, tabouli, and roasted eggplant salad is a winner.
