Amavi Restaurant, Santa Fe

Amavi Restaurant, located one block southeast of the Plaza, serves Mediterranean cuisine and was awarded "Best New Restaurant" by Santa Fean Magazine and five stars by the Albuquerque Journal. Amavi is quite large; you can dine in the restaurant, enjoy a cocktail at the bar or beside the fire in the lounge, or rent the entire place for a private event. The restaurant menu changes frequently, as does the list of French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese wines; often, a suggested paired wine is listed with a dish. The cocktail list is short but creative, with the Classic Amavi Cosmopolitan being the house specialty
