Brunch
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/19/10
I have been here for brunch several times. The food has always been great but you may need to wait to get in. The location is downtown and it always seemed to be busy. Great atmosphere, a staple of Santa Fe.

Very unique restaurant. Fine dining traditional New Mexican fare that is not pretentious and innovative. Sit at the community table and meet people from all over the world who've come to Pasqual's. Lovely servers who want to accomodate their guests and are passionate about the food.

If you want a great breakfast with a twist of imagination this is your place. This is our choice for breakfast and the lunches are superb. Go early for breakfast as the lines can be long. The service is attentive and food is worth it. We have never been disappointed.

Absolutely amazing breakfast! The quality and size of the breakfast burrito made up for the long wait. Bill West, one of the managers, was waiting our table, and did a fantastic job along with plenty of colorful commentary. well worth a return!

Certainly an institution in Santa Fe. The problem is, how many times can you eat there before the wheels start to fall off? For us it was the third or fourth. Burnt sauce, piece of glass in an enchilada, improperly seasoned food. All bad if people didn't fall over themselves to get into the place. Best for the hardened local or the "I have to eat there tourist." But, do try it once and see for yourself. When on, the food is really wonderful.

For better and for worse, a Santa Fe institution. New Mexico style infused with care and finesse into midscale New American cuisine (red chile on the baked brie, mole "gravy" on the mashed potatoes, green chile on the filet). Notably excellent homemade desserts, acceptable wines by the glass. A small, cramped, and noisy vibe will be either be great fun or migraine-inducing depending on who you are. Way overpriced, but hey, that's Santa Fe.

Had some fabulous meals in Santa Fe, but this one edged out the others. Best were the Mole enchiladas, freshly made by hand. Our friendly waiter smiled and said the "Prez" was running the kitchen that night, and was using a family recipe from his native Mexican state of Durango (rivaled anything from the best of Oaxaca or Puebla). Very tasty appetizer, forgot name but from El Salvador, with hand-made tortillas de maiz - melted in mouth.

This is a restaurant that we will visit every time we go to Santa Fe. They have their own little twists even on things as simple as Ceasar Salad. Have the specials, they are great. Our waiter was attentive and suggested an excellent wine that matched both our dinners. You must have a reservation. It is worth it.

Noisy, no reservations, crowded. Food that was interesting 30 years ago.
