Bert's Burger Bowl is a family-owned, burger diner that is a one-stop stomach satisfier. This joint has been around for half a century and still continues to thrive with its quality food. They even claim to have invented the Chile Cheese Burger, and it is definitely one of the best around. Great burgers, good service and reasonable prices are defining points of this place. No wonder so many North Mexicans and Plaza-ridden tourists flock to this diner, making it one of Santa Fe's most loved dining destinations!

Hadn't eaten there since I was a kid and looked forward to eating there. I don't know what D,D&D was talking about. Our burgers weren't fully cooked. Not going there again. Now Five Guys burger, awesome

We were very disapointed with our visit. Originally was very exicited, due to the great piece we saw on DD&D's. Well, the place was dirty - tables outside were messy. Restroom was as well. Ordered green chile cheeseburgers, fries, oinon rings and milkshakes. The milkshakes were the only good thing. Bun was cold, way too much mustard and barely any tomatoes. Spent $20 for cold burgers, extra, extra small fires and oinon rings - wish we went to wendy's instead.

Authentic Local Burger Place

The sign says it takes about 10 minutes to prepare each order and sometimes at lunchtime the wait can stretch to 15 minutes but its worth it. This is a real hole in the wall kind of place that is always packed. If you want burgers, shakes, onion rings, or fries, served in a no nonsense manner, this is the place for you. Santa Feans consistenly vote for this spot as one of the top burger places in town.
