Great beer and food. The staff and crowd is always friendly and make for a great atmosphere. I'm a vegetarian and my husband is very much a meat eater, but we both always love it here. Wanda's green chile stew is fabulous as are their daily specials. The Mesa Pale Ale is a must. Of all the restaurants I've been to in Taos, this is the only one I have gone to more than once, more like 2 or more times per trip.
I went with a few buddies here and had a nice time. There was an average band singing a mixture of country and folk music. The place has a hippie feel to it. The service is friendly and food is great, as far as pub fare is concerned. Located close to the Plaza.
I mean, seriously folks, where else can you get a vegetarian to cook your burger, and it is perfect? I mean, they have the best food, spirits and people, this place has it all. Trust me, only thing, you gotta smoke outside. Even then, they have assured the smokers of warmth and have an out side heater for us all. two thumbs up, fine holiday fun!!!!!!!!!!
